This is a clear-cut example of how people are cool. No one really knows anything about the landowner who has dotted his property with these statues along the river. All anyone knows is that every few years a new statue appears and delighted boaters can make a game of spotting the "new kid on the block." This particular piece of property juts out into the river, which means that the statues are scattered around three-fourths of the property.
